who we are
Jess and Cait have been best friends for 20 years, globe-trotting until Cait settled in the US and Jess made Cape Town her home. Jess, a seasoned beauty industry pro, always dreaded doing nails – the damage and chemicals were unbearable. Her disdain for chemicals echoed Cait’s clean living approach, as Cait always chose holistic, healthier body products.
Fast forward to 2021, Cait’s going through a rough divorce, and the stress was so intense her nails literally started falling apart. She was desperate for a solution – something that had never happened before. After what felt like an eternity of searching, she found SNS. The transformation was insane. Her nails became the strongest and healthiest they had ever been.
Finally, after four years apart due to COVID, Jess and Cait reunited. The moment Cait stepped off the plane, Jess noticed her nails and blurted out, “What is on your nails?” That simple question changed everything. It sparked the idea for Beautific, and just like that, they partnered with SNS to bring the revolution of healthy, natural nails to South Africa.
